Twitter and Network Marketing.

If you're involved in network marketing and not using Twitter, you're missing out big time. It's one of the coolest and easiest tools that you can have in your MLM marketing strategy.
The buzz of Twitter has just been around for a couple of years, but it has been growing by leaps and bounds. Not convinced? Twitter is in the top 300 most-trafficked websites. It proves that people are heavily lurking here...and among them, tons of potential business partners.
So why does Twitter attract such a huge amount of people and how can you use it to market your MLM business?
Basically, Twitter is a social networking site with micro-blogging concept. This concept is very simple, answer the question "what are you doing now?" in 140 characters or less. So it's like a blog, but much shorter - hence micro-blogging. Each of this short message is called 'tweet'.
Just like any social networking site, you can also build a network of people here, but instead of friends they're called followers. Basically, followers are people who are interested to follow you tweets. And your tweets can only be seen by those people following you. But unlike most social networking sites, Twitter does not have fancy stuff like games or applications. You can only display one photo and 140 characters for your bio. This what makes Twitter uniquely attractive. You must squeeze your brain to come up with a short, yet compelling first impression.
Now here's the comparison of ordinary blog with Twitter. If you have 10 people you're following closely on the internet, you'll spend at least 30 minutes to read all of their blog posts every day. With Twitter, you can get to the point about their activities in less than 5 minutes. Let's be honest to ourselves, people love the word 'instant', right?
With such simple and fast interaction. Twitter is extremely effective for relationship building over the internet. In case you haven't noticed, relationships are the ultimate key in network marketing success.

Have a great and healthy day!
